Stand Up for Nuclear Belgium is hosting a protest against the Belgian nuclear phaseout. On February 15, from 10:00 to 12:00, international allies will convene in front of Doel 1 to witness its closure, a climate injustice.

WePlanet Belgium, 100 TWh, Belgian politicians, academics, the press, and clean energy advocates from across Europe will attend the event, highlighted by multiple speeches intended to reverse the phase-out policy introduced by a 2003 law.

The pro-nuclear groups hope to prevent the shutdown of Tihange 1 and Doel 2, also slated for closure in 2025.
