Nuclear Now will be playing at the SF Alamohouse in the Mission District starting at 7:00 pm. After the movie, there will be a live Q&A session with local experts.

Paris Ortiz-Wines is the global director of Stand Up for Nuclear. The organization's mission is to advocate for the protection and continuation of nuclear energy in order to build a sustainable clean energy future.

Dr. Dinara Ermakova is an alumna of UC Berkeley's Department of Nuclear Engineering. She supports nuclear advocacy groups, young professionals in nuclear, and non-profit organizations with a focus on climate change to promote nuclear energy as a way to decarbonize the global economy.

James Hopf is a nuclear engineer and MIT alumnus who retired early to devote his time to climate advocacy.

Ryan Pickering is an energy policy researcher and environmental justice activist from Berkeley, California, with 12 years of experience in the solar industry.

The Q&A will be moderated by Guido Núñez-Mujica, senior data scientist at the Breakthrough Institute, computational biologist, science communicator, and environmental and climate activist.
