This past year, 2020, during the entire month of September, pro-nuclear activists stood up in front of train stations, central plazas, and public parks to engage and educate the public of nuclear’s benefits and address widespread myths.
Allies around the world in 67 cities and 28 different countries stood up for nuclear. In comparison, during our first year of Stand Up for Nuclear, allies in over 30 cities and 19 countries, on six continents around the world, pro-nuclear activists stood up for nuclear. From Australia to Argentina, both women and men.
Stand Up for Nuclear is the world’s first international pro-nuclear movement. It was founded by the Nuclear Pride Coalition, an alliance of independent organizations committed to saving and expanding nuclear energy.
