Stopping & reversing Nuclear phaseouts
It is an environmental crime to shut down clean, existing infrastructure in a climate and energy crisis. Operating nuclear plants are a proven, cost-effective, reliable source of low-carbon energy, and currently provide 10% of the world’s electricity, and are the 2nd largest source of clean energy.
Nuclear energy plants can last up to 80-100 years and when they are prematurely closed, the lost power is replaced with fossil fuels, increasing emissions.

With nuclear, we can secure our clean, abundant energy future for all. However, nuclear has long been misunderstood and feared due to the misinformation from anti-nuclear activists and the lack of communication from the industry to the public.
But times have changed - the scientific consensus agrees nuclear will have to play a vital role in decarbonization efforts if we are to meet our climate goals.

On October 26th, 2024 we partnered with Lëtz Atom to host Luxembourg’s first pro-nuclear demonstration. Held at the welcoming William’s Plaza during the Saturday farmers market, the event brought together individuals and organizations from five countries hoping to spark the nuclear conversation in Luxembourg.
