On November 14, in a public Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) meeting, members of the public are welcome to comment on several processes related to Diablo Canyon relicensing, and in particular a 20 year extension.

Draft Supplement 62 to the GEIS for license renewal of Nuclear Plants will be up for comment as well as NUREG-1437 for Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-80 and DPR-82 (for a 20 year extension).

Possible alternatives discussed will be a “no-action” alternative, and replacement power alternatives.
