Germany Nuclear Restart Conference
On May 22, in Berlin, an international coalition is hosting a conference with the goal of restarting 9 of Germany’s shut down nuclear reactors. The conference will explore how nuclear can save the economy while protecting the climate and nature. It will take place at the Hotel de Rome and is sponsored by Nuklearia, Generation Atomic, and Radiant Energy Group.
The event builds off analysis from Kern D Association and consultancy Radiant Energy Group that restarting reactors is feasible, with three plants coming back online in one to four years.
Speakers include the Former Federal Minister for Family Affairs Dr. Kristina Schröder, influencer Isabelle Boemeke, filmmakers, the technology historian Dr. Anna Veronika Wendland and Radiant Energy Group’s Mark Nelson.
To stay informed and up to date on the conference, you can follow the Anschalt-Konferenz X account for updates and more information. They post in English and German.
